A 22-year-old Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III paid $1.2 million in November for a five-bedroom, 4½-bathroom home in Libertyville.
The house, which was built in 2005, features high-end finishes including 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and a kitchen that was remodeled in 2022 with a six-burner Thermador range. The family room has custom built-ins and a gas fireplace,according to the Chicago Tribune.
The primary suite, renovated in 2023, has two walk-in closets, a tray ceiling, and an en-suite bathroom with heated floors, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower, according to the news report. Additional highlights include a finished basement with a gym, a first-floor office, a three-car garage and an outdoor brick paver patio with a built-in fire pit.
Luther, a native of St. Louis, was drafted last year by the Bears and played 15 games this past season.
