THE Seattle Seahawks have made a final decision on Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker’s future.

The 25-year-old star is coming off a 161 scrimmage yard performance that helped the Seahawks dominate the New England Patriots in the big game, winning 29-13, last month.

All eyes have been on the defending champion Seahawks and whether the team will franchise tag Walker.

But the Seahawks are not expected to franchise tag the reigning Super Bowl MVP ahead of Tuesday’s 4:00pm ET deadline, per ESPN.

That means Walker is set to be a free agent next week when the league year opens on Wednesday, March 11.

Still, Walker and the Seahawks could come to terms on a new contract before 4:00pm of that day, which is the official start of free agency.

At the same time, other teams can talk to Walker and his reps at noon on March 9, when the NFL‘s legal tampering period begins.

Walker is set to enter the free agent market at an ideal time.

The 2022 second-round pick is coming off a career-season in which he posted 417 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns in three playoff games.

Walker was the standout player of Super Bowl LX, posting 27 carries for 135 yards and two receptions for 26 yards.
