The 49ers made another change to their coaching staff for the 2026 NFL season.
After former tight ends coach Brian Fleury left to become the Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator, San Francisco promoted assistant offensive line coach Cameron Clemmons to fill the position, a source told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco on Wednesday.
The 49ers promoted Cameron Clemmons from assistant O-line coach to tight ends coach, source tells NBC Sports Bay Area. Clemmons takes over for Brian Fleury, whom the Seahawks hired as their new offensive coordinator.

Clemmons completed his second season as the team’s assistant offensive line coach after spending four years (2020-23) as the Las Vegas Raiders assistant offensive line coach.
The University of Tennessee graduate now is tasked with leading a position group that could be without star tight end George Kittle (torn Achilles) for the beginning of the 2026 season.
