Yet another former Carolina Panthers player has found his way to Buffalo. This time, it’s the Chicago Bears that’ve helped him get there.

According to multiple reports from Thursday, the Bears are trading wideout DJ Moore to the Bills. The deal, per NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, will see the ex-Panther and a 2026 fifth-round pick head to Buffalo in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick.

Moore, of course, began his NFL career in Carolina, as a first-round pick from the 2018 NFL Draft. He’d go on to play five seasons with the Panthers—totaling 364 catches for 5,201 yards (the fourth-most in franchise history) and 21 touchdowns.

The Panthers would then ship Moore away to Chicago as part of the massive deal for the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Moore will reunite with former Panthers offensive coordinator and new Bills head coach Joe Brady. In 2020, their only full season together, Moore notched what remains a career-high 18.1 per reception.
