Former Penn State linebacker Jesse Luketa is set to start a new chapter in his NFL career.
Luketa is signing a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Luketa spent the tail end of the 2025 season on the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad before getting released in February. He was previously with the Arizona Cardinals, who drafted him in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft.
Throughout his professional career, Luketa has played in 31 games, tallying 35 tackles and seven tackles for loss.
Luketa was in Happy Valley from 2018-21, appearing in 47 games and recording 151 tackles and 11.5 tackles for loss. He was a third-team All-Big Ten selection by the conference media in 2021.
