With Adam Trautman scheduled to become a free agent next week and Evan Engram facing an uncertain future with the team, the Denver Broncos are expected to prioritize the tight end position this offseason.

An example of that prioritisation was the team meeting with at least seven tight ends at the NFL combine last month, including some of the top TEs in this year’s class.

Denver met with Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers (a potential first-round candidate) and well as potential Day 2 prospects Max Klare (Ohio State) and Sam Roush (Stanford). The team also met with a pair of tight ends projected to go in the fourth round (Oscar Delp and Jack Endries) and two Day 3 prospects (Joe Royer and John Michael Gyllenborg).
