The Los Angeles Chargers reportedly agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with center Tyler Biadasz, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Biadasz was the starting center for the Washington Commanders during the 2025 season. The franchise cut Biadasz on Feb. 26 before the final year of the three-year, $29.25 million deal he signed with the Commanders during the 2024 offseason.

With the Commanders, Biadasz was set to make $8.3 million for the 2026 season. But now with his new contract with the Chargers, Biadasz will make $10 million next season.
Biadasz Will Replace Bradley Bozeman As Starting Center
The Chargers will use Biadasz as a replacement for center Bradley Bozeman, who announced his retirement after the 2025 season. Biadasz will also join a Chargers’ interior offensive line that may be completely revamped this offseason.
In addition to Bozeman’s retirement, the Chargers could lose left guard Zion Johnson in free agency this offseason. Los Angeles also already made the decision to release right guard Mekhi Becton on Wednesday.

Biadasz will likely be an upgrade from Bozeman, as the 28-year-old earned higher grades than Bozeman in pass block win rate and run block win rate last season. Biadasz was a regular starter for the Commanders, and the decision to cut him was related to saving cap space.

Before playing for the Commanders, Biadasz started in all 49 games he played with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys drafted Biadasz in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and Biadasz went on to make his only Pro Bowl appearance in 2022 as a Cowboy.
