A 15-year NFL veteran with the New Orleans Saints is set to become a free agent next week.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter broke the news yesterday that veteran defensive end and longtime Saints player Cameron Jordan will hit the free agency market next week for the first time in his career.

The eight-time Pro Bowl defensive end has been rumored to possibly end up with the Denver Broncos and former coach Sean Payton. During the 2025 season, Jordan would once again put up excellent numbers.

In 17 games played with 17 starts, Jordan would have 47 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, and15 quarterback hits. 54-percent of defensive snaps played with 590. Despite being 36 years old, the NFL ironman is not showing any signs of slowing down.

For his career, he has amassed 132 sacks. It is rare to see a player at his position still look to have years’ worth of longevity. If he were to join the Broncos, he would be a great addition to an already ferocious defense and serve as a veteran leader and role model in the locker room.

The NFL league year officially begins on March 11th.
