AARON Rodgers is still without a team after leaving the New York Jets at the end of last season.

The quarterback, 41, has endured a difficult couple of seasons since signing for the Jets.

Rodgers suffered a devastating achilles injury in his first game for the Jets, missing virtually the whole 2023 season.

The veteran QB returned last year, but didn’t look himself as New York went 5-12.

Despite his down year, Rodgers is still attracting interest.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have not been shy in showing their admiration.

Team president Art Rooney II admitted on April 1 that he would be willing to wait for Rodgers.

The Steelers subsequently did not draft a QB with the sixth pick last month, notably passing on Shedeur Sanders.

Rooney recently gave a further update on his team’s wait for Rodgers’ decision.

“A little while longer. I’ll say the same thing,” the 72-year-old said.

It is not clear which other teams have enquired about Rodgers’ availability.

But the New Orleans Saints are sweating on the status of one of their potential starting QBs.

The Saints’ previous starter Derek Carr was forced to retire earlier this summer.

Jake Haener, Spencer Rattler and rookie Tyler Shough are set to battle it out for the starting QB spot.

Haener, however, has suffered an injury.

The 26-year-old suffered an oblique issue during practice on Wednesday.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Haener is set to be out for weeks with the injury.
