Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, appeared to officially confirm her relationship with Derek Green, son of former Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl champion Trent Green, in a recent Instagram post. The two went public with a series of romantic photos from a recent vacation, marking what many are calling a “hard launch” of their relationship.
Hunt, who previously held the title of Miss Kansas USA, shared a carousel of images that included the couple holding hands, posing poolside, and even taking a juice shot together. She captioned the post:
“My heart is full. Grateful for some much-needed time to rest, reflect, and reset after a whirlwind few months post-football season. So thankful for time with the people who keep me grounded, remind me I’m loved, and never fail to make me laugh. Swipe for a few favorite snapshots from life lately.”
Derek Green, whose father played six seasons with the Chiefs from 2001 to 2006, followed in his dad’s football footsteps. He played quarterback at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2018 to 2021 before transferring to Long Island University in 2022.
Interestingly, both Gracie and her father, Clark Hunt, also attended SMU. According to his LinkedIn, Green now works as a sports operations manager in Kansas City.
The couple was also spotted attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner together in late April, fueling speculation about their relationship. In fact, Hunt had hinted at a budding romance weeks earlier in an Instagram Story showing her hugging a mystery man, now believed to be Green, as they stood overlooking Arrowhead Stadium.
