The NFL’s new league year will officially kick off on Wednesday, but that doesn’t mean the action won’t start earlier when the annual legal tampering window opens on Monday afternoon, and many expect the Tennessee Titans to make a splash early.
The Titans have significant needs across the roster, but many analysts expect them to attack the offensive side of the ball first. Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is the latest to weigh in, and he connects Tennessee to multiple weapons on the open market. At wide receiver, Fowler mentions the Titans in connection to both Alec Pierce and Wan’Dale Robinson, who have been mentioned by many previously, but goes on to add a new name in Romeo Doubs.
Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs plans to hit the market. Talks with Green Bay did not result in a new deal. He’ll have several suitors. The Patriots, Commanders, Titans, and 49ers are closely watching his market. Doubs is considered by some evaluators to be the best all-around receiver in the group
While many fans have discussed Doubs on social media, this is the first known acknowledgment by an outside source that the Titans are interested in the Packers’ receiver.

Fowler didn’t stop there with nuggets on the Titans, hinting at the possibility of them tapping into the running back market as well.
I’m hearing (Kenneth) Walker will consider the Giants and Commanders among his options, with the Titans as a possibility, too. Etienne has AFC West love via Denver and Kansas City. Both of those teams could check on Walker and others, too, depending on price ranges.
The Titans do have Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears on the roster, but appear to be considering a change. Not only have they been connected to Jeremiyah Love in the pre-draft process, but they have now been mentioned multiple times in connection to some free agent backs.
