The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.

The Arizona Cardinals have many roster decisions to make before then.

Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.

Next up is linebacker Channing Tindall.

Channing Tindall 2025 season

Tindall signed with the Cardinals’ practice squad on Sept. 10 after playing three seasons for the Miami Dolphins. He was elevated twice during the season to play and then signed to the active roster in December.

He played in eight games, almost all on special teams. He logged four defensive snaps and 108 on special teams. He had eight total special teams tackles.

Tindall is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent on March 11.

His future with the Cardinals is uncertain. They have a new head coach and special teams coordinator. He could be signed to be a back-of-the-roster player or he could end up landing elsewhere.
