Former Tennessee Titans linebacker Zaviar Gooden is headed to Denver to join the Broncos’ coaching staff.

Gooden was drafted No. 97 overall by the Tennessee Titans in 2013. The Missouri product recorded a combined seven tackles for loss as well as one quarterback hit for the team in his two seasons from 2013-14.

Gooden also played for the Detroit Lions (2016) and the Arizona Cardinals (2016-17). He began his coaching career as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at USC in 2021. He most recently served as assistant development coach at LSU from 2022-26.

NFL insider Aaron Wilson reports that the Broncos have hired Gooden to be a part of their staff for the 2026 NFL season.

The Broncos reached the AFC Championship game in 2026 and are led by quarterback Bo Nix.
