Former New England Patriots long snapper Joe Cardona is on his way to Los Angeles.
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Cardona has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday.
Cardona won two Super Bowls with the Patriots in 2017 and 2019. The 33-year-old played 10 seasons for New England from 2015-24. He most recently played for the Miami Dolphins in 2025.
The Patriots went with Julian Ashby at long snapper last season. However, Cardona was a long-time member of the franchise that helped New England add to their Super Bowl championship total early in his career.
Cardona now joins the Rams after Los Angeles advanced to the NFC Championship Game last season in a losing effort. The Navy product will play in his 12th season in the NFL in 2026.
