The Carolina Panthers may be closing in on adding another free-agent offensive lineman.
According to ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler, offensive tackle Stone Forsythe plans to sign with the Panthers. News of this expected signing comes just minutes after the reported agreement between Carolina and center Luke Fortner.

After attending the University of Florida from 2016 to 2020, Forsythe was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent two of his four campaigns there alongside current Panthers head coach Dave Canales and offensive coordinator Brad Idzik.
Forsythe, following an offseason stint for the New York Giants, stuck on with the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2025 season. He’d end up making 13 starts at left tackle in place of an injured Kolton Miller.
With Panthers starting left tackle Ikem Ekwonu recovering from a ruptured torn patellar he sustained in January, Forsythe could serve as insurance for Carolina’s blindside.
