Bad news for RJ Harvey’s fantasy football managers in dynasty leagues: the Denver Broncos are bringing back running back J.K. Dobbins on a two-year deal.

Dobbins will now return to his starting role with Harvey rotating in behind him. They proved to be a dynamic duo through the first ten games of the 2025 season before Dobbins went down with a foot injury.

Behind Dobbins and Harvey, Denver’s also bringing back Tyler Badie, who served as the team’s third-down back last year thanks in large part to his ability as a pass blocker. The Broncos also brought back practice squad running backs Cody Schrader and Deuce Vaughn, and they’re said to be interested in a reunion with Jaleel McLaughlin.

For now, this is how Denver’s (projected) running back depth chart shakes out:

Depth: Cody Schrader, Deuce Vaughn

Given Dobbins’ injury history, the Broncos will likely target running backs in the NFL draft next month. Denver currently holds nine picks, so the team will have plenty of opportunities to continue improving the backfield depth.
