KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – For the second time this week, the Kansas City Chiefs have added a running back in free agency.
According to a report from Jordan Schultz, the Chiefs have signed former Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado.
The signing comes a few days after Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III left the Seattle Seahawks to join the Chiefs.
Demercado had 44 carries for 312 yards for the Cardinals in 2025, his third season in the NFL.
The signing also follows Isiah Pacheco departing for the Detroit Lions.
