The Dallas Cowboys aren’t done adding veteran reinforcements to their secondary.
According to ESPN, Dallas plans to sign cornerback Cobie Durant to a one-year deal. Durant would land in Dallas after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams.
Durant has appeared in 61 games throughout his stint with the Rams, making 39 starts. He was a key part of the Rams’ defense in 2025, leading the team with three interceptions. He recorded a 50-yard pick-six in a Week 12 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Rams originally drafted Durant in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft. He would be Dallas’ third free agency addition in the secondary, joining safeties Jalen Thompson and P.J. Locke.
