The first wave of free agency is wrapped up for the Pittsburgh Steelers and it’s been busy. New head coach Mike McCarthy waste no time in evaluating the roster and pinpointing multiple spots to upgrade via free agency as well as a huge trade.

This rush of activity means the Steelers can completely shuffle their top needs for the 2026 NFL draft and is going to give Pittsburgh plenty of freedom with their picks. Using the information we have so far, here is our updated four-round mock draft.

First round – DT Caleb Banks – Florida

We love Banks as an eventual replacement for Cameron Heyward.

Second round – LB Jacob Rodriquez – Texas Tech

Rodriquez is a playmaker and makes Patrick Queen or Malik Harrison expendable.

Third round – OL Brian Parker II – Duke

As worst, Parker plays 10 years as a top reserve at all five spots and at best he’s a career starter at guard or center.

Third round – TE Eli Stowers – Vanderbilt

One of the most pure move tight ends in the draft and fills a significant need on the roster.

Third round – CB Davison Igbinosun – Ohio State

Igbinosun’s short-area quickness and physicality make him a great option as a big slot cornerback to deal with tight ends and big slot receivers.

Fourth round – WR Kevin Coleman Jr. – Missouri

Shifty, twitchy, speedy, agile, Coleman checks all the boxes to be an interior receiver.

Fourth round – QB Taylen Green – Arkansas

Green may never be a great NFL quarterback but you don’t pass up this level of athleticism from a guy who can play quarterback at this point in the draft.
