The 49ers’ pass rush arguably was the team’s greatest weakness this past season, as they recorded an NFL low 20 sacks on the year.

John Lynch made it clear at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine that the issues would be addressed in the offseason, and the 49ers have done just that. They sent a 2026 third-round to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa.

Not only does the third round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft provide some interior pass rush support, but he also brings along a super fan in his mother, Abieyuwa. She took to Instagram to introduce herself to the 49er Faithful, while also confirming she is her son’s biggest fan and the leader of his fan club.

In his six seasons, the UCLA product racked up 216 total tackles, two forced fumbles and 17 sacks.

Considering the 49ers had just 0.5 sacks combined between starting defensive tackles Kalia Davis and Jordan Elliott, it might not take long for “mama Osa” to have a large attendance in her son’s fan club.
