The Los Angeles Rams only have one pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft after trading the No. 29 selection for cornerback Trent McDuffie. However, the Rams still own the No. 13 pick from the Atlanta Falcons — an area where they could set their sights on a top-tier prospect in this year’s draft.

One player many mock drafters have honed in on is USC receiver Makai Lemon. He would be a quality third option behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, who could become the team’s No. 2 threat when Adams eventually leaves or retires.

And after his USC pro day, which Rams general manager Les Snead attended, NFL insider Tony Pauline believes Lemon won’t fall past L.A. with the No. 13 pick because of how well the workout went.

The feeling after the workout was clear. It’s highly unlikely Lemon gets past the Rams, who own the 13th pick of Round 1.

Lemon caught passes during the pro day and ran an expected 4.48 seconds in the 40-yard dash. The USC receiver could go anywhere in the first two to 13 picks, so it stands to reason the Ram may pounce on arguably the top pass-catcher in the draft when they make their first selection in April.
