According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Tennessee Titans are set to release star defensive back L’Jarius Sneed on March 13, 2026.

Sneed, who began his professional career as a fourth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2020 NFL Draft, only suited up to play in 12 regular-season games during his two-year tenure with the Titans.

A key member of Kansas City’s Super Bowl LVII and LVIII rosters, Sneed was traded to Tennessee in 2024. In exchange for their star defensive back, the Chiefs received a third-round draft selection and a seventh-round pick swap from the Titans.

In his six-year NFL career, Sneed has recorded 10 interceptions, 6.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles.

While it remains unclear if Kansas City will inquire about a reunion with Sneed in free agency, the Chiefs have needs in their secondary after parting with several key defensive backs earlier in March.
