With all of the excitement free agency has brought, it’s easy to overlook one of the most significant facets of the offseason: the NFL draft.
While the Tennessee Titans have filled some of their needs in free agency, they still have a lot of work ahead, and it will be interesting to see how they approach the draft. Lately, there has been a tremendous amount of talk on Jeremiyah Love, whom they have already hosted on a Top-30 visit.
Love won’t be the only top prospect to visit Nashville, as Tony Pauline of Essentially Sports reports that Tennessee already has a visit lined up with one of the top wide receiver prospects.
The Trojans pro day does not take place until Thursday, March 11, yet there’s a buzz building over receiver Makai Lemon, who did not test at the combine. Even before pro day, Lemon has seven official-30 visits scheduled, including the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Washington Commanders, New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Rams. In my most recent mock draft, I had the Rams selecting Lemon with the 13th overall pick.
Lemon created a stir at the NFL Scouting Combine, with reports that his team interviews were unimpressive and that he came across in a negative light. But with everything at this stage of the offseason, one must wade through the smokescreens to find reality.

Lemon may lack the elite measurables, but he is a dynamic playmaker and a difference maker, and arguably the top wideout in his class.
