The Green Bay Packers have lost free agents Malik Willis, Romeo Doubs, Quay Walker, Rasheed Walker and Kingsley Enagbare to deals with other teams during the first five days of free agency. The NFL has a parity mechanism known as “compensatory” picks, which are awarded to teams based on the net result of signing and losing unrestricted free agents each offseason.
What picks should the Packers expect to get next offseason?
One thing we know: Barring any other signings affecting the formula, the Packers will receive four compensatory picks in 2027.
According to Nick Korte of Over the Cap, who tracks and projects comp picks, the Packers are expected to receive…
— A fourth-round pick for losing quarterback Malik Willis, who signed a deal worth $22.5 million per season with the Miami Dolphins. This could move up to a third based on playing time and performance. The more Willis plays in 2026, the better chance this moves up to a third.

— A fourth-round pick for losing receiver Romeo Doubs, who signed a deal worth $17 million per season with the New England Patriots.
— A fifth-round pick for losing linebacker Quay Walker, who signed a deal worth $13.5 million per season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
— A sixth-round pick for losing one of 1) left tackle Rasheed Walker to the Carolina Panthers, or 2) edge rusher Kingsley Enagbare to the New York Jets. Both are reported to have signed deals worth up to $10 million for one year. Walker has the best chance of getting bumped up to a fifth based on playing time.
The Packers signed cornerback Benjamin St-Juste to a deal worth $5 million per year, which will cancel out the deal signed by Walker or Enagbare in the formula. But teams can only receive a maximum of four compensatory picks per year, so this cancellation doesn’t hurt the Packers.
As long as the Packers do not sign another unrestricted free agent to a deal over $3 million or so per season, Green Bay should receive (at a minimum) two fourth-round picks, a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick from the compensatory pick process in the 2027 NFL draft.
