Crean Lutheran’s football program has received a trio of transfers from Yorba Linda and St. John Bosco, the players and Saints coach Rick Curtis confirmed this week.

The new arrivals are Yorba Linda wide receiver Troy Roberts (5-11, 175) and St. John Bosco defensive players Ahmeer Williamson (6-0, 205) and Jacob Whitehead (6-3, 170). All three players have enrolled at Crean Lutheran.

Roberts, a junior, led Yorba Linda in receiving last season with 40 receptions for 611 yards and six touchdowns.

He earned offensive player of the year in the Bravo League and helped the league champion Mustangs reach the CIF-SS Division 2 playoffs.

Williamson, a junior linebacker, finished as St. John Bosco’s seventh-leading tackler last season with 34 total tackles. He made second-team All-Trinity League.

In January, Williamson was offered by Colorado State and Arizona.

Whitehead is a junior cornerback.  He holds several offers, including Texas, Miami, USC, Texas A & M and Georgia among others.

Crean Lutheran rises to the Bravo League in 2026-27 and will face Capistrano Valley, Corona del Mar, La Habra, Tustin and Villa Park.

Last season, the Saints won the Epsilon League title and lost Leuzinger in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs.
