Dre Greenlaw already looks right at home again with the 49ers.

Sydney Warner, wife of All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner, shared a video on social media showing Greenlaw playing with the couple’s young son, Beau.

The wholesome moment comes shortly after the 49ers reunited with Greenlaw in free agency.

A source confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco that the veteran linebacker agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million contract to return to San Francisco after one season with the Denver Broncos.

Greenlaw spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the 49ers after being selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. During that stretch, he and Warner formed one of the league’s most productive linebacker tandems and became leaders of San Francisco’s defense.

The duo finished first and second on the team in tackles in four different seasons and helped anchor multiple playoff runs, including the 49ers’ trip to Super Bowl LVIII during the 2023 season.

Greenlaw’s first tenure with San Francisco ended in heartbreaking fashion when he tore his Achilles in a sideline accident during that Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Although he worked his way back and later signed with Denver in 2025, the Broncos released him on Thursday, opening the door for a quick reunion in the Bay Area.

Warner and Greenlaw also took to social media to celebrate the news of the reunion, sharing posts that reflected their excitement about being teammates again.

Sydney Warner’s video now offers another glimpse of just how close the two linebackers remain — showing Greenlaw already fitting right back into the Faithful family.
