Who have the Jets lost during opening week of 2026 NFL free agency?

The start of free agency every NFL offseason is always about the excitement of new players arriving. In 2026, it’s no different.

However, it’s a two-way street. While the New York Jets have both signed and traded for players to add to their roster, the same has happened in the opposite direction.

Pass rusher Jermaine Johnson was traded to the Tennessee instead of being released.

In terms of pending free agents to leave the Jets, here are the seven that have signed elsewhere:
