Former NFL star speaks at Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana Sneaker Ball

Hey, what’s up? It’s Carrie Grace with WLKY. We’re at the Boys and Girls Club of Kentucky and *** Sneakerball 2026. I am here with Michael Vick. Coach Vick, tell me, uh, what is the best part about this phase of your life? The best part about this phase of my life is the level of understanding that I have and and just in life in general, um, obviously being *** coach has helped me grow, um, being *** father, being *** husband has helped me grow and so you know with all the experiences that I’m experiencing in life, uh I’m, I’m learning more and more, um, and every day I wake up I’m excited to learn more. And I wish I felt this way when I was 25 years old, but when I was 25, I kinda had everything that I wanted in life, and so the ambition wasn’t there to push harder and learn more and experience more because everything was right there for me. Now it’s, uh, more so about, um, how can I help the people in my household, how can I help the young men and women that I’m trying to connect with on *** daily basis as far as being *** coach and, and the messages that I’m trying to convey when I sit on people’s platforms, so. Uh, excited about each and every day. Thankful to wake up each and every day and, uh, hopefully I can continue to be ***, *** positive for, for people who, who might need *** message or might need to be influenced one day. And where can we catch your show? You can catch our show. Uh, that’s *** good plug. You can catch our show Wednesday nights on BET, the Coach Vic Experience. Uh, so proud of that project, so proud that it was more so about my players, um, than myself, uh, you know, we went 1 and 11 last year and we still, uh, learning. *** lot. They had *** great time together so looking forward to year two, from *** football standpoint, but you can catch the Coach Vick experience on Wednesday nights on BET. Go check it out. Thank you, Coach Vick. You can catch the rest of his conversation right here tonight at the Secret Bowl but also on WLKY.
