When you trade two first round picks for a corner at the trade deadline because you believe that you’re in a Super Bowl window and you wanna capitalize on that, your secondary was the most vulnerable position on your team, then you kind of put yourself into a corner at the quarterback position.

Because you don’t trade two first round picks if you have any interest in getting in on the quarterback sweepstakes over the next couple of years.

So you don’t have a first r- You don’t have a first round pick.

The quarterback free agent market is barren.

I mean, your options are Kyler Murray and Mark, M- Marcus Mariota.

Like, I, they just did- they didn’t have another option.

But that doesn’t make it okay.

The Colts and Chris Ballard put the Colts in this situation, so now they’re forced to overpay for Daniel Jones because they don’t have another option
