The Pittsburgh Steelers may be considering adding a new quarterback this offseason, and there’s a possibility they could pursue a trade for Anthony Richardson Sr. from the Indianapolis Colts.
Indianapolis is likely to trade Richardson this offseason. If the Steelers want to acquire him, they may have received encouraging news that one of their rivals is not pursuing him.

The Cleveland Browns are in desperate need of quarterback help, but it seems they’re not considering acquiring Richardson.
According to Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot from Cleveland.com, the Browns aren’t training for Richardson.
“As for the Browns, they’re not trading for Richardson, despite widespread rumors during the first week of free agency that they’d pursue him, sources say,” Cabot wrote on Saturday. “It’s never been a serious consideration for them, although they usually do their due diligence on available veterans to see if it’s a fit.”
Since the Browns appear to be stepping back from acquiring Richardson, this could limit the possible teams interested in trading for him and potentially lower his price. This situation could work in the Steelers’ favor.
