After a season in Pittsburgh where Jefferson had historically low production, he spent 2025 with the Tennessee Titans, catching 29 passes for 350 yards with a touchdown. Now, he’ll join forces with Jayden Daniels and likely be a depth receiver for the Commanders. Washington also signed WR Dyami Brown, who was with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season but began his career in Washington.
CAM HEYWARD WISHES BROTHER WELL
Cam Heyward has been a fixture with the Steelers, and the last four years, he was able to play with his younger brother, Connor. Now, Connor is headed to the Las Vegas Raiders on a two-year deal he signed on Thursday. Cam took to Instagram to wish his brother well and talk about his time playing with him.
Heyward played a versatile role with the Steelers and was the quarterback when they did their version of the tush push. He also served as a tight end and occasional fullback. But in Las Vegas, he’s expected to play fullback full-time. It’s a good opportunity for Heyward, and with his departure along with Calvin Austin III, the Steelers don’t have any members of their 2022 draft class on the roster.
NEW STEELERS ENTER FACILITY
The Steelers put out a video of the team’s offseason additions touring the team’s UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and meeting with the team’s coaches. The video featured Michael Pittman Jr., Jamel Dean and Rico Dowdle touring the team’s facilities and meeting with Patrick Graham and Mike McCarthy.
The three were introduced to the media on Friday. They hope to make a positive impact and bring an infusion of talent to the Steelers’ roster.
