Former Alabama defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson has landed with the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year deal according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Tomlinson was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals but will be staying out west for up to $7.5 million annually on his new contract with the Chargers. He started all 17 games with Arizona in 2025 posting 26 tackles and one sack on the year.
The veteran has also played two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before playing his first four seasons with the New York Giants who drafted him in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Prior to his NFL days, Tomlinson played under Nick Saban at Alabama from 2012-2016 and was a two time national champion in 2012 and 2015 where he played a major role on the Crimson Tide’s defensive front. Tomlinson completed his college career with 122 total tackles and four sacks.
