The Patriots announced their 2026 coaching staff Monday.

Former defensive coordinator Terrell Williams is now the team’s assistant head coach. Zak Kuhr replaced Williams last month after serving as the interim defensive coordinator for most of the season.

Vinny DePlama, a defensive assistant last year and former linebacker at Boston College, has succeeded Kuhr as the Patriots’ inside linebackers coach.

Charles London (offensive analyst), Jonathan Decoster (offensive line assistant) and BJ Edmonds (defensive assistant) are new to the Patriots’ staff. London spent the last two seasons coaching quarterbacks for the Jets (2025) and Seahawks (2024). He previously crossed paths with Mike Vrabel in Tennessee (2023) and Houston (2015-17). Earlier this offseason, Vrabel lost assistant offensive line coach Robert Kugler to the Steelers.

Decoster spent the last two seasons serving as an assistant offensive line in the college ranks with Florida. Decoster has some NFL experience, spending three seasons with the Browns from 2021-23 as an offensive assistant coach. Edmonds has no NFL coaching experience, spending last season as an analyst working with cornerbacks at Duke.

The Patriots’ entire 2026 staff is as follows: head coach Mike Vrabel, assistant head coach Terrell Williams, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, defensive coordinator Zak Kuhr, special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer, vice president of football operations and strategy John Stricher, quarterbacks coach Ashton Grant, running backs coach Tony Dews, wide receivers coach Todd Downing, tight ends coach/pass game coordinator Thomas Brown, offensive line coach Doug Marrone, assistant offensive line coach Jason Houghtaling, offensive line assistant Jonathan Decoster, offensive analyst Charles London, offensive assistant Chuckie Keeton, offensive assistant Riley Larkin, defensive line coach Clinton McMillan, inside linebackers coach Vinny DePalma, outside linebackers coach Mike Smith, cornerbacks coach Justin Hamilton, secondary coach Scott Booker, defensive assistant BJ Edmonds, defensive assistant Kevin Richardson, assistant special teams coach Tom Quinn, director of coaching analytics Ekene Olekanma, director of sports performance Frank Piraino and strength and conditioning coaches Deron Mayo, Brian McDonough and Brandon Martuccio.
