The Denver Broncos shocked the NFL world on Tuesday morning by agreeing to trade three picks in the 2026 NFL draft to the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and a fourth-round pick.

Waddle, who came out of the University of Alabama with cornerback Pat Surtain, instantly provides pop in the Broncos‘ wide receiver room. Waddle is a productive receiver who will help the offense move the chains this season.

Waddle has missed a few games due to injury, but comes to Denver after five years in Miami, having caught 373 passes for 5,039 yards and 26 touchdowns. Waddle also has shown a dual-threat capability of running the football, rushing 14 times for 81 yards and one touchdown.

Waddle is once again the type of player head coach Sean Payton loves, where he could line up anywhere on the field and make an immediate impact.

With that in mind, check out some of Waddle’s highlights, which showcase his elusiveness and his speed against some of the top cornerbacks in football.
