Earlier this offseason, the Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine before free agency started, and now he’s found a new team to play for during the upcoming season.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Westbrook-Ikhine is signing with the Indianapolis Colts to help replace Michael Pittman, who they traded.
Westbrook-Ikhine, 28, played collegiately at Indiana from 2015-19 before signing with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2020. After five years in Tennessee, he signed a two-year deal with the Dolphins last offseason.
In 15 games in 2025, Westbrook-Ikhine caught just 11 passes for 89 yards, his lowest output since his rookie season with the Titans, when he had three receptions for 33 yards.
Miami released Westbrook-Ikhine in February, and now he has an opportunity to prove himself again in the AFC South.
