A pair of former Dallas Cowboys announced their retirements from the NFL on Wednesday afternoon.
Linebacker Logan Wilson, who the organization released last month, and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who hadn’t played in the NFL since he wore a Dallas uniform in 2022, both made the end of their respective careers official on social media.
“When I look back on my career, I just feel grateful. Not many Wyoming kids get the chance to live out their dream in the NFL , and I never took a single snap for granted,” Wilson wrote on Instagram.

After five-plus seasons with Cincinnati, Wilson was acquired in a trade with the Bengals before last season’s trade deadline. The 29-year-old appeared in seven games with the Cowboys and had 24 tackles.
The Cowboys traded a seventh-round pick in this year’s draft to Cincinnati for Wilson.
Hilton, meanwhile, signed with the Cowboys as a free agent late into the 2022 season. He appeared in three games, but made an impact in his brief time with the team.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Hilton thanked the Cowboys for giving him “the opportunity to continue playing the game I love.”
Hilton spent his first ten 10 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, where he was named to the Pro Bowl four times and led the NFL in receiving yards (1,448) in 2016.
