Let’s start with the Dolphins, who we know traded Jaylen Waddle to the Broncos, which has us wondering WTF are the Dolphins actually trying to accomplish right now?

Are they bad enough to tank?
Are they not?
Where are you?
on, on grading their tank so far, where are the Dolphins?
Well, before we get into the Dolphins, dare I say this is arch madness.
Oh.
Thank you.
That’s well done.
That is well done.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I am here all week, and I’ll be back next week.
so here’s the thing with the Dolphins.
I’m so confused about what they want to do.
Because if I looked independently o- of Malik Willis, I would say that, you know, they sold at the trade deadline last year.
They fired their general manager, and they fired their head coach, and they let all of their free agent players hit free agency, and they traded Jaylen Waddle.

I would say, yeah, they’re trying to suck.
They’re trying to stink because they just paid $100 million for Tua to just walk away.
So they’re trying to stink, they’re offloading their books, and they’re looking for their quarterback of the future.
Got it.
Understood.
And then you pay Malik Willis $30 million a year to come in, and he was the most highly coveted free agent quarterback on the market?
What?
I’m confused.
Like, signing Malik Willis feels so independent of everything else that they have shown that they want to do or be.
So my thing with the Dolphins is they’re trying to be bad, but also but not, not too bad, but also not bad enough to, to be bad, but also not good enough to be good.

So the Dolphins are setting themselves up to be in a position that I think is the worst position to be in in sports, which is 8-9 and 9-8.
You’re not bad enough to take a swing for a quarterback, yet you’re not good enough to do anything of substance.
I’m very confused about what the direction of the Miami Dolphins is and who they want to be.
If you wanna stink, just run it back with, with, Quinn Ewers.
If you wanna stink, just sign one of these not very good quarterbacks off the, off the street on the cheap.
But no, you’re investing in the quarterback position and nowhere else.
On top of that, Caroline, they have, they’ve, they’ve told everybody according to reports that Devon Achane is not touchable right now in a trade.

And Devon Achane obviously has been a very good- Why?
player for them.
But also of note, Devon Achane, Achane is 25 years old and is in the last year of his rookie contract.
So okay, you don’t trade him right now.
That’s fine.
You wanna keep Devon Achane.
For what?
Like, aren’t you trying to suck?
And if you’re not trying to suck, why did you get rid of the other piece-
