Travis Kelce has returned to the Kansas City Chiefs after signing a one-year deal while contemplating retirement from the game, with a post sharing his career with the team so far

Travis Kelce will go one step further than brother Jason this season as he plays in his 14th year in the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs recently confirmed his signing and in one of the posts, took a look back at the tight end’s look throughout the years.
One of the best tight ends in NFL history, Kelce has little to prove having considered retirement after each of the last two years. But after spending over a month considering his options, he signed a one-year, $15m deal to return.
The Chiefs went on to make a number of big moves in free agency, including signing Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker to a three-year deal to be their starting running back. They went on to trade for New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields as an insurance policy for Patrick Mahomes, who may miss time this year after sustaining a knee injury. It comes as an NFL star was seen leaving an Oscars party with three women, including a USA hockey star’s girlfriend.

The Chiefs’ approach in the offseason may have impacted Kelce’s decision to return to Kansas City, where he will once again be the focal point of the offense.
Kelce will turn 37 this year and images shared of the tight end throughout his career had fans debating whether he looks better now than in his rookie year.
Kelce’s look in 2014
The Chiefs shared multiple images of Kelce, with one stating: “He’s only gotten better with age,” as another commented: “Bro was majestic in 2014”.
Another fan wrote: “His buzz cut that he’s had in the last few years by far his best,” as one responded: “He gets more beautiful with age”.
Kelce has not had too many different haircuts, seemingly preferring the buzzcut for the large majority of his career.

Some fans preferred his look in his early years in the career, when he rocked the tapered haircut with some length on the top.
In 2023, Kelce began dating Taylor Swift after she appeared at a game against the Chicago Bears. She would go on to make a number of appearances at games that year and the following, before the two became engaged in 2025.
The couple are set to be married in June 2026, having chosen a venue in Rhode Island.
Kelce will then begin training camp in the latter weeks of July in what looks sure to be his final season in the league.
