The Tennessee Titans have been busy in free agency, adding competition and depth to a roster that entered the offseason with more questions than answers.

Tennessee has focused more on defense than on offense, but has added playmakers on both sides of the ball, and there is no doubt it needs to add more in both free agency and the draft before the start of the season. Dalton Wasserman of Pro Football Focus (PFF) believes Tennessee must add these positions to take the next step.

Tennessee Titans: IOL, EDGE, RB

As it stands, Tennessee has a potential opening at center and right guard. Veteran center Austin Schlottmann played reasonably well under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll in New York last season, but he will soon be 31 years old and has never logged 400 snaps in a given season. The Titans’ projected right guard is Cordell Volson, who missed all of the 2025 season with a shoulder injury.

The Titans could also use a premier pass rusher, despite adding some nice pieces at edge defender in free agency. Jermaine Johnson, Jacob Martin and Oluwafemi Oladejo all produced sub-65.0 PFF pass-rush grades last season. Keep an eye out for the potential selection of Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love with the fourth overall pick, as well.

Edge, running back, wide receiver, and interior offensive line have all been mentioned by those outside the organization, and they appear to be spot on. Tennessee has a significant question to answer along the offensive line, where they appear to have a void at center and right guard. Re-signing veteran Kevin Zeitler for another season in Nashville would help, but even then, they must add some depth.
