The Detroit Lions missed the playoffs last season for the first time in three years, but that hasn’t dimmed interest in seeing the team this fall.The Lions sold out season tickets for the 2026 season Thursday, March 19, three days after opening spots for people on their season ticket waitlist.This is the fourth straight year the Lions have sold out of season tickets.The Lions have been one of the biggest draws in the NFL since returning to prominence under Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes. They reached the NFC championship game in 2023 and set a franchise record with 15 wins in 2024 but went 9-8 last year and finished in last place in the NFC North.

This year, the Lions have eight home games in the regular season and are the designated home team for a game that will be played in November in Germany.

Their home opponents for 2026 are: The Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans and New York Giants.The Lions currently have a wait list of about 20,000 people for season tickets. They sold about 4,000 tickets to fans on their waitlist this week.
