Jimmy Horn Jr. may have been destined to land with the Carolina Panthers.

On Sunday, the University of Colorado football program released their behind-the-scenes look at Horn’s NFL draft experience. The half-hour mini-documentary follows the 22-year-old wide receiver around in the weekend leading up to his selection, and included a very interesting (and perhaps prophetical) trip to the athletic headwear retail store Lids.

Check it out . . .

Horn, of course, would be taken by the Panthers in the sixth round, with the 208th overall pick of the draft.

The speedy pass catcher/possible soothsayer has since wasted little time in making a quick impression. Horn turned heads almost immediately during last week’s rookie minicamp, where he put some of his exciting explosiveness on display.

Given Carolina’s lack of a real vertical threat in recent years, Horn could find his way onto the 53-man roster come Week 1. But only time, and maybe Horn, will tell.
