GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals sign their fourth offensive line this free agency period making it clear that they will not make the same mistake as last year. Arizona signed five-year Pro Olisaemeka Udoh to a one-year deal on Friday. He has played for three teams over the course of his career, with the latest being the Tennessee Titans. The 29-year-old had the most success in 2021, starting 16 games for the Minnesota Vikings.

Outside of that lone season, Udoh has been used as a reserve piece, which general manager Monti Ossenfort looks to keep him in that same role for 2026.

What Udoh’s signing means:

Four offensive linemen signed is not a coincidence for the franchise. Injuries to almost all of the Cardinals starting O-Linemen last year caused the offense to be bottom five in sacks allowed and rushing yards per game. The lack of depth at the position led to Ossenfort signing people off the street to try and play NFL football.

The goal this free agency period seems clear for the fourth-year GM. Ossenfort is ensuring that the offense doesn’t endure that type of struggle again by bringing in multiple veteran offensive linemen. Isaac Seumalo, Matt Pryor, Elijah Wilkinson and Udoh join already established players like Paris Johnson Jr. and Hjalte Froholdt bulk up the trenches for Arizona.

Ossenfort currently has seven picks for the 2026 NFL draft, including the third overall pick. He likely won’t go O-Line with the team’s top pick, but it wouldn’t be shocking if he continues his pursuit of depth at tackle and guards to completely rebuild the unit from the ground up.
