After the Denver Broncos traded their first-round draft pick to the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, fans in Denver will look forward to mock drafts that go beyond the first 32 picks.
One recent example is a two-round mock draft from Kyle Crabbs of A to Z Sports. Crabbs has the Broncos selecting Ohio State tight end Max Klare at pick No. 62 overall in the second round.

Klare (6-4, 246 pounds) totaled 43 receptions for 448 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games with the Buckeyes last fall following three seasons at Purdue. He met with the Broncos at the NFL combine, and NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has said the tight end would represent “great value” at pick No. 62.
Evan Engram is scheduled to become a 32-year-old free agent in 2027, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Denver begin planning ahead at tight end. After losing two net picks to trade for Jaylen Waddle, the Broncos now hold seven picks in the 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
