Travis Kelce has decided to run it back for another season with the Kansas City Chiefs. That’s great news for the fan base, the team, and even for himself, and he has the unwavering support of his fiancée, pop superstar Taylor Swift.
However, with the couple set to tie the knot, they’ll now have to get everything done before the start of training camp. According to a report by HeatWorld, this has led to some sleepless nights and the couple feeling ‘rattled’ about all the details leaking to the media:
“And it seems that even Taylor isn’t immune to pre-wedding jitters, as we’re told that even the world’s biggest popstar is tackling her inner bridezilla, as a source reveals how the bride-to-be has been left ‘rattled’ after details of their wedding were leaked,” the report read.
Moreover, given Swift’s rather tight-lipped circle, it looks like Travis is going the extra mile to figure out whether the leaks are coming from his camp:
“The insider says, ‘In this case there’s some chatter that the leaks are coming from someone in Travis’s camp so now he’s on a mission to figure out who’s blabbing, which isn’t exactly his favorite thing to be having to do,'” the report added.
Kelce is about to enter what will most likely be the final season of his Hall of Fame career, and he doesn’t need this type of distraction right now.
He’s coming off hauling in 76 receptions on 108 targets for 851 yards and five touchdowns, so he clearly still has plenty left in the tank. The Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era, and that’s not how a future first-ballot Hall of Famer should walk away from the game.
For now, he’ll have to focus on a different ring, though, making sure his better half gets the wedding of her dreams and — more importantly — that the media are as far away from it as possible.
