The Atlanta Falcons completed the 19th NFL trade of the 2026 league year on Friday afternoon, swapping a pair of mid-round picks with the Philadelphia Eagles for safety Sydney Brown.

The former third-round pick joins a formidable secondary as a backup to Jessie Bates III and Xavier Watts. Brown still has upside, and considering he cost almost nothing, it looks like another low-risk move by first-year Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham.

The 26-year-old has appeared in 42 games (nine starts) over the last three seasons in Philadelphia, recording 86 tackles (55 solo), five passes defended and two interceptions.

So, what exactly were the terms of the trade, and what picks do the Falcons have left?
