The Tennessee Titans have made some significant strides in improving the competition and depth on their roster through the early stages of free agency with additions on both sides of the ball. Leaning on familiarity and trust, general manager Mike Borgonzi methodically approached the offseason and appears to have reset the organizational floor.Â
While the Titans have made some improvements to the roster, holes remain at some critical positions, leaving some to wonder if the team is better positioned to leap forward in 2026. One analyst, Ben Arthur of Fox Sports, believes they have definitely taken a step forward.Â

The Titans have significantly raised their floor with their flurry of moves in free agency and the trade market. They’ve remade their starting defense for new coach Robert Saleh, and second-year quarterback Cam Ward gets much-needed help with a proven slot receiver in Wan’Dale Robinson.Â
Verdict: BETTER
There is little doubt that they have raised the floor of the talent across the roster, but there is still work to do, especially along the offensive line, where there are questions at both guard and center that must be answered before the start of the season.
With the second wave of free agency and the draft ahead, general manager Mike Borgonzi will have every opportunity to continue the rebuild.Â
