I like this fit a lot specifically because of who Jaxson Dart is as a quarterback.
He wants to push the ball deep down the field.
We know that Malik Nabers can do it, but Carnell Tate, probably the best vertical receiver in this class with the way that he wins deep.
Yeah, okay, like, the 40-yard dash wasn’t as great as it could’ve been.
I’m not real worried about that.
I mean, he wins in a lot more ways than just being the fastest guy out there, and I honestly think that we focus a little too much on top speed when we talk about some of these vertical receivers.
When I think about Carnell Tate, I think of, like, a high-end wide receiver two.

For Carnell Tate, fifth overall in this draft I think is totally fine for just some of the ways that we’re talking about it.
He could just essentially be the Tee Higgins to Malik Nabers’ Ja’Marr Chase.
You’re just gonna set that, you’re gonna forget it for eight years or so, ’cause I think Malik is capable of being that Ja’Marr Chase type of player
