The Green Bay Packers re-signed edge rusher and special teamer Arron Mosby, per NFL reporter Aaron Wilson. The re-signing was listed on the league’s transaction wire for Monday. Mosby (6-3, 250) was a restricted free agent who became unrestricted when the new league year began.

Mosby becomes the 12th free agent to re-sign with the Packers this offseason.

Mosby, who turns 27 in April, played in 28 games over the last two seasons with the Packers. He was on the field for over 200 total special teams snaps during both the 2024 and 2025 seasons, cementing himself as a core special teamer for Rich Bisaccia. The Packers are moving forward with Cam Achord at special teams coordinator, but Mosby will have a chance to carve out another role this summer.

According to Pro Football Focus, Mosby made four special teams tackles in 2024 but then contributed 10 total tackles on special teams in 2025.

With the Packers switching to a 3-4 base front, Mosby will likely be listed as a linebacker moving forward. He also has experience as an off-ball linebacker. His body type and athleticism are perfectly suited for playing special teams.

Last season, Mosby began the regular season on the practice squad but was signed to the 53-man roster in November after exhausting his three gameday callups. Across 12 regular season games, Mosby played 221 snaps on special teams, or roughly 77 percent of the team’s total special teams snaps during that stretch. He was on the field for five different units: punt return, punt coverage, kickoff return, kickoff coverage and field goal block.

With Mosby re-signed, the only unsigned Packers free agents are tight end John FitzPatrick and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith, plus cornerback Trevon Diggs and quarterback Clayton Tune, who were released.
