The Tennessee Titans did not capitalize on a chance to add a generational talent in the 2014 NFL draft.
The Titans held the No. 11 pick in the first round that year and used it to address the left tackle position by selecting Taylor Lewan out of Michigan. Lewan went on to start in all but five of the 105 games he played for Tennessee from 2014 to 2022. A three-time Pro Bowler, Lewan was a solid first-round selection for the Titans, but he was not the generational talent available at that spot.
Here is who the Titans passed on with the 11th overall pick, including an eight-time first-team All-Pro.

Honorable mention: LB C.J. Mosley (Retired)No. 17 overall pick – Baltimore Ravens
The Titans also had the opportunity to select inside linebacker C.J. Mosley at No. 11 overall. Mosley finished as runner-up to Donald in the 2014 AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year race and earned second-team All-Pro honors that season. He would finish his career with five All-Pro selections.
