There’s a new WR in Philadelphia.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Eagles are signing Elijah Moore to a one-year deal.

Moore played for the Buffalo Bills last season. He put up nine catches for 112 yards.

The 25-year-old Moore has been in the NFL since 2021. He has played for the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Bills. The Florida native enters next season with 209 career catches for 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns.

Moore is very close friends with Eagles star WR A.J. Brown. They were teammates at the University of Mississippi.

Philadelphia could trade Brown this offseason. If a trade goes down, it will happen after June 1 because Brown’s dead-money hit would be lowered from $40 million to $20 million.

Brown had 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He and QB Jalen Hurts weren’t on the same page.

A three-time Pro Bowler, Brown has been with the Eagles since 2022. He has 339 receptions for 5,034 yards and 32 touchdowns in a Philadelphia uniform, helping the franchise beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

During the Eagles’ wild-card round loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Nick Sirianni and Brown got into a heated sideline exchange. Philadelphia lost to San Francisco by a final score of 23-19. Brown had two drops, tying a career high, and declined to speak to the media postgame.

Brown finished the Eagles-49ers game with three catches for 25 yards on seven targets. Philadelphia fans booed him after his second drop in the fourth quarter.

Brown has 8,029 receiving yards and 56 touchdowns in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans and Eagles. It will be fascinating to see where he’s playing next season.

The Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots have been heavily linked to Brown, who doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel coached Brown in Tennessee.
